Will depend on both material the crate is dropped on, and the material/structure of the crate. If the crate, and the floor were perfectly rigid, then the time taken for velocity to drop to zero and reverse(because the crate would bounce back up at same speed it hit) would be 0 seconds.
Acceleration is twice the impact speed divided by the time. In this hypothetical case dropping from ANY height (even 1mm!) would result in an infinite acceleration exceeds all “g labels”
