betta fish with other fish?
I have a male Betta fish in a 10 gallon tank with a plant and coral reef sculpture and i was wanting to add a couple Blackfin sharks and possibly a figure eight puffer but i don’t know if my betta will attack and kill them or not. If they are not able to go with him what other fish could?
Really Bad Idea
The puffer will shred your betta, then outgrow your tank. They also need to move to brackish water as they grow.
The Sharks will try and grow to a foot long, and will simply swallow a betta whole. They also require brackish water as they mature.
Good options to keep with a betta in that size tank – Cory catfish or small short finned schooling fish like neons or platies.
