I have been on 2 dates with a Mexican man. He doesn’t open up…is it a cultural thing?

I am pretty sure he likes me. I mean, I get a text most mornings saying good morning & have a great day. He calls me baby. I don’t know, maybe I am just being insecure. But he seems to avoid a lot of questions. I have never dated a Mexican guy & I don’t know if there are major cultural differences that I should be aware of!
I don’t mean completely open up! I get that I’m not going to get a life history after 2 dates, but we have been communicating for almost a month (we met online).
