Wedding gift idea for an elderly couple? We're on a budget …?
My mother is getting married in December. She is 66, is 79. Both have been there made as to raise their families and households full of stuff. They are financially comfortable, you will live in a <1,000 square feet of apartments and do not need more things to sit around and gather dust. My husband and I are only partially employed at the time and live on a strict budget. $ 100 is a lot of money for us, but this is what we consider for a gift. What are good gift ideas for them? They like to go to local games, dining out, enjoying art, such things. They live in Portland, OR. If I had money, I'd probably go for a fruit of the month Harry & David sent for a year. But that's not possible right now. Maybe a gift certificate to a local restaurant? But that seems so boring, and the finite. Maybe a good set of ceramic bowls size you'd use frequently? A little original work of art? Please share your ideas more interesting and creative!
