Once a piece of pottery is glaze fired……?
can it be fired again if, say for instance….the inside did not get glazed the first time? Thanks, Dragonfly
Repeated heating and cooling can cause the glaze to craze or form hairline cracks, but some potters actually exploit this for effect. Sometimes a piece will get fired once, then another layer of glaze added and fired again… so, yes, repeated firings can be done.
