Please help identify painting – Manet?
This is a vase of peonies, mostly creamy white / light peach low light peach pink little darker, with two large flowers and a small round (unopened flower) in a glass ceramic dark blue or black with gold around the base. There are leaves out a little to the left and right in the vase. To the left of the paint on the bottom are some areas of green leaf and left in the middle is a rounded shape similar to another piece of pottery, also dark, with a lighter goldish line running around the mean. The rest the painting is a seemingly random background golden yellows, grays, blacks. I have found some similar pictures by Manet, but can not find it. Pretty sure it is Manet, however. I wish it was one of those, thanks for replying, but it is not. : (
