This is a large bowl, 12 "diameter 7 inches deep with ceramic Ruckel Whitehall, Ill., 1870 at the bottom. The vessel is one piece but was burnt black until I began to rub in it says that my cousin's grandmother was the recipient of potato salad was Viley to church and family dinner gatherings since she can remember.
