Can a highfire speedball fired glaze cone 10?
I have a lot of speedball glazes to paint I used in a study of community different. Fired clay and I beilve was very low heat. I'm not using a study that primarily uses stoneware and fire to cone 10. Can I use my glazes speedball is consumed or color? I miss being able to decorate w / color and glaze regular "wet" are much more muted for my taste. I like the colors rich. Would he then have them on greenware bisque then put a clear glaze on top of being fired cone 10? I'm currently using Trina Buff or clay Loafers Glory. (Do not know much about fire and furnace material .. just making and design of the ceramic). I am also thinking of trying the Mocha technique that uses slip (I have not worked much w / slip whatever). Ceramics peeps need your help!
You need to have a discussion with Professor some studies may make special shots, if enough students request or if they are willing to be fired only at the end pieces may be advisable to some small parts test tiles that can withstand up to 3 or 4 inches high maybe with some texture to one side. Blue Jays are a way to test to see how a varnish or enamel I saw fire under the ball speed are some cone 6 glazes and some cone 05 I know that some people put pieces glazed in the bottom of a soup oven cone 05 This is something that needs to be discussed with the professor _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Some facts about Mocha-diffusion http:// ceramicartsdaily.org / pottery-making-techniques / ceramic-decorating-techniques / mocha-diffusion /
