How do I clean an unglazed piece of pottery so I can eat off of it?
I just returned from Honduras C.A. and bought this really neat pottery piece. Basically it’s a pot that you put coal or fire into and then place a bowl on top of it. The heat is used for melting cheese or beans for dips. since this came from another country it needs to be sanitized, plus I’m curious about how to clean it after use. It is a brown color and has not been glazed. How would you go about cleaning this piece so you can eat off of it?
I’d say it’s dishwasher safe. Maybe
