how do i fix the white screen of death for the w600i?

hi, i have a w600i. one day i plugged in the usb cable to transfer some music and it froze(when the phone has to restart) on the sony ericsson screen so i disconnected the usb cable and then tried to turn my phone on but it just shows the white screen. i tried to take out the battery pack, sim card, etc. but it still doesn’t work. what should i do? PLEASE HELP! thanks.

sometimes after i sync some songs into my w600i i get what i think is the “white screen of death” then i just open and close the phone and its back to normal
